Minnegan, T., A/Smn., 1916
In Heworth (St.Mary) Churchyard is the Commonwealth War Grave of Tyneside Z/6932 Able Seaman Robert Minnigan, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 01/12/1916.

A collection of items bearing his name was offered for auction in June 2020. They included Victory Medal, RNVR Memorial Plaque, Rectangular mirror bearing his name, photo; Naval sweetheart brooch, YMCA Bible, brass button stick; magnetic belt, Railway Temperance medal.
