In Rue-Petillon Military Cemetery, Fleubaix, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 19/918 Private William Daglish, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 01/04/1916.

The Consett Guardian 02/06/1916 reports:

Daglish, William, of 79 Pipewellgate, Gateshead, Private in D.L.I. killed in action 1st April 1916, aged 39."

He is remembered in the DLI Book of Remembrance and possibly on G39.004
