Suggett, H., Fus., 1943

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 20/07/1945

In Kanchanaburi War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 4276736 Fusilier Harold Suggett, serving with the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers who died 18/07/1943.

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 20/07/1945, 17/08/1946 and 16/08/1947 all carry a notice which reads:

“Suggett – Felling, L/Cpl. Harold, 9th R.N.F., died while P.O.W. in Thailand, 19th July 1946.”

He is remembered in the Battalion History page 20
