Heslop’s Local Advertiser 15/06/1946

In Wulveringhem Churchyard is the Commonwealth War Grave of 4454331 Private Joseph Edwards Templeton, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 01/06/1940.

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 15/06/1946 carries an In Memoriam notice which reads:

“Templeton, Pte. Joseph Edwards, killed in action June 1st, 1940, 9th D.L.I. Buried Wulveringham, Dunkirk.”

There is another dated 12/06/1948.

He is remembered in Felling on F32.10
