Heslop’s Local Advertiser 19/10/1946

In Geel War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 14214027 Corporal James Gerard Flynn, serving with the King's Own Scottish Borderers who died 18/09/1944.

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 19/10/1946 carries an In Memoriam notice which reads:

“Flynn – (Felling). Jimmy, K.O.S.B., died of wounds, Arnhem, Sept.18th 1944. Also Joe (RNF) killed in action El Alamein Oct. 30th 1942.”
