Heslop’s Local Advertiser 21/09/1946

In Gradara War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1140240 Gunner Thomas Emmerson Forster, serving with the Royal Artillery who died 13/09/1944.

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 21/09/1946 carries an In Memoriam notice which reads:

“Forster, 21, Reay Street, Bill Quay, Thomas Emerson, killed in action, Italy, Sept. 13th 1944.” The edition for 20/09/1947 also carries an In Memoriam notice.
