In Rookhope St. John Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:-

Sacred
To the memory of
My beloved husband
Thomas Adamson
Of High House
Rookhope
Who died Feb 3rd 1930
Aged 62 years
Also of our dear son
Thomas Currey
2nd Lieut 15th DLI
who died Nov. 20th 1922
Aged 24 years
And our dear daughter
Frances Susanna
Died August 1st 1932
Aged 23 years

Thomas Currey Adamson is remembered at Rookhope on R51.01 as returned and R51.03 as being wounded
