In Regina Trench Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 250509 Private Walter Scott serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 24/08/1918.

There is confusion with his rank. The CWGC has him entered as a private. On the memorial at Crook and in the D.L.I. Book of Remembrance his rank is given as "Lance Corporal.

Walter Scott is remembered in Crook on C121.03 and C121.04 and in the D.L.I. Book of Remembrance page 223
