In Quarry Cemetery, Montauban is the Commonwealth War Grave of Second Lieutenant Frank Irvin Young, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died between 24/07/1916 and 25/07/1916.

The Newcastle Daily Chronicle 09/08/1916 carries this photo of him, with the caption:

"Lieut. F.I. Young, N.F., of Bishop Auckland, reported killed."
