William Glendinning,
22nd Battalion, Durham Light Infantry
William lived in Co-operative Terrace, and was an apprentice grocer. Landed in France 17th June 1916. He was killed in action on the 4th March 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
