In Yokohama War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1004389 Leading Aircraftman Fred Hadrick, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 16/02/1944.

Simon Glancey has submitted the following:

LAC Hadrick of 84 Squadron died whilst being held as a Prisoner of War by the Japanese. His death was the result of cardiac beri-beri, and he died at Wakayama.

He is remembered in Aycliffe on A40.01 and in Bishop Auckland on B140.01
