On Portsmouth Naval Memorial is the name of P/MX 78025 Engine Room Artificer 4th Class William Forster, serving with the Royal Navy, who died 11/05/1942.

He is named on the 1939-45 Scout Roll of Honour as having been associated with the 1st Leadgate Group, but which gives his date of death as 11/04/1941.
