In Le Grand Beaumart British Cemetery, Steenwerck, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 27586 Private Lawrence Cutmore, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 12/04/1918.

The Blaydon Courier 17/04/1920 carries an "In Memoriam" notice which reads:

"A Tribute of love and respect to the memory of my dear brother, Pte. Lawrence Cutmore (Lorrie), Dowlais Cottage, Dipton, who was killed in France April 12th 1918, aged 19 years and 4 months. Lovingly remembered by Florrie and Nathan."

The Blaydon Courier 01/05/1920 carries an "In Memoriam" notice which reads:

"In ever loving memory of our dear brother, Lawrence Cutmore, Dowlais Cottage, Dipton, who was killed in France, April 12th, 1918, aged 19 years and 4 months. Lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers. 'Till the day breaks'."

Lawrence Cutmore is remembered at Dipton on D46.02
