Husband of Hannah Jerrison, of 1, Court B, Pinfold Gate, Loughborough, Leicestershire.

The Daily Gazette for Middlesbrough 19/01/1917 reports:-

Discharged Soldiers Death
About 7.30 this morning Joseph Jerrison who lodged with Pte. D. Cowey at 2 Trafalgar Street Consett, was found lying at the kitchen of his lodgings with his throat cut and a razor by his side. He was a discharged soldier and had recently started at the Consett Iron Works. P.C. Crosby rendered first aid and Dr. Macintyre was summoned but the man was dead.

Joseph Jerrison is not remembered on a local War Memorial.
