A.C.2 Hinds was killed when an unidentified North American T-6 Texan trainer aircraft of 5 British Flying Training School crashed at Clewiston, Florida. The aircraft crashed after overshooting in the south west corner of the airfield at Riddle Field
R.C.A.F. records state that the crash occurred at 00.11 hours, and that he died at 03.05 due to his injuries.
Michael Kevin Hinds is remembered at Burnopfield on on B155.01
