The memorial at Burnhope (B153.10) states ‘Died After Discharge.’ I think his service number is 1075448.
His death certificate states that he died on June 23rd 1943 at Jaw Blades Cottage, Burnhope, due to Toxaemia and Pulmonary TB, aged 22 years. The certificate records his occupation as ‘Grocer’s Assistant.’ His home address is given as 77 Greenwood Avenue, Burnhope.
