Part 09: Presentation Aircraft
PRESENTATION AIRCRAFT

Many organisations, towns, cities, districts and individuals, not only in the UK but also from elsewhere in the world, presented aircraft to the Royal Air Force. The required sum for this was £5,000 although the aircraft cost considerably more than this figure.

The following names were allocated to presentation aircraft which, at one time or another, saw service at RAF stations Milfield and Brunton. However it cannot be confirmed that they carried these names throughout the whole of their period of service.
