Steam engine nameplate “The Old Contemptibles” was handed to the Museum in November 2002. It joins three others. Two are named after Pte. Skyes (?Sykes) and Private Wood of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. The other has the name “The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers". Northumberland Gazette 28/11/2002 carries the report.
