"At the Grey Horse Hotel, Pelton, last night, watches were presented to Sergt. Brewis, D.C.M., M.M. and Driver Adams, M.M. in recognition of the appreciation of the people of the parish at the distinctions conferred upon them. Mr. J.R. Mole, J.P. presided, and the Vicar, the Rev. C.F.B. Haselwood, M.A., made the presentations on behalf of the committee of the Distinction and Welcome Home Fund."
