Plaque, Chapman, 1902 in St. Helen's
In the choir/chancel of St. Helen's Church is a plaque bearing an inscription with Crest and acorn and leaf border dedicated to Capt A. H. Chapman, J.P., 19th Hussars, chairman and director of Clarke Chapman and Co Ltd, 1902. This was erected by directors, officials and workmen. It was made by the firm of Edward H. Thew of Newcastle on Tyne.
