Welcome Home at St. Cuthbert's, Bensham

The Newcastle Daily Chronicle 04/11/1919 reports:

A welcome home to the members of St. Cuthbert's Church, Bensham, Gateshead, who served in the war, was given last night at the Parochial Hall, Rawling Road. Altogether 150 were entertained to supper. An address of welcome was given by the Rev. A.J. Gadd, vicar of St. Cuthbert's, who had a lengthy service as honorary Chaplain to the Forces in France. The Rev. J. Duncan, O.B.E., Hon. C.F., replied.
