Sergeant Ridley was an air gunner and wireless operator in a Lancaster bomber which was brought down over Berlin in 1944. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ridley. pages 300-1

Durkin, Pte. James: lived at North street, and was initially reported missing.
Halkier, Sgt.-Pilot Henry; son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Halkier,of 4, Church Street was initially posted missing. page 298
Pratt, Pte. William; only son of Mr. and Mrs. Park Pratt, of 12, Greyridge Estate, who had been informed that their son was missing. page 290
Rounding, Pte. Thomas L., N.F., age 25, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rounding, was “a prisoner of the Japanese.” page 298
Shevels, Pte. Laurence, is given elsewhere as Frank Laurence. His death is not recorded by CWGC.
