Plaque, Russell, 1856, in St. Brandon's
A brass inscription formerly inside St. Brandon's was dedicated to Margaret Russell, youngest daughter of William Russell, wife of the General Sir Gordon Drummond GCB; it was dedicated :

Also Colonel Gordon Drummond
Coldstream Regiment of Footguards
eldest son of the above,
died Nov. 17th 1856, aged 47 years,
after his return from the Crimea,
when he commanded the Brigade of Guards
at the fall of Sevastopol

The plaque, made by A. Green, was on the wall in the chancel and was recorded by Surtees in 1919. It has now gone.
