In Gillingham (Woodlands) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 831/ST Trimmer Thomas Armstrong, serving on H.M.S. Pembroke with the Royal Naval Reserve who died 21/07/1915.

The son of Thomas and Isabella Armstrong, of 3, Tyne Street, Hartlepool.
