On Chatham Naval Memorial is the name of Tyneside Z/6537 Able Seaman Thomas Thompson Watson, serving on S.S. Caledonian with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 04/12/1918.

The son of Eleanor Watson, of 31, West End, Old Hartley, Seaton Delaval Northumberland.

One report states that he died of heart failure.

Thomas Thompson Watson is remembered at Seaton Delaval on S7.03 and S7.10 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
