Unveiled May 1923 by two wounded soldiers, named as J.T. Stoker and William Slinn, in a service conducted by Rev. W. Jeffries, Rector of Kirkhaugh.

Memorial Description:

Panel with raised centre top with border of vine leaves.

At centre top is an ornate cross below which is the dedication in raised Roman capitals.

The cross and dedication are possibly gilded.

The names are engraved in three columns using Roman capitals with the initial letters coloured.

The quotation is in the bottom frame.

Notes:

1. The two wounded men who performed the unveiling ceremony had each lost a leg.

2. It seems that the memorial was to have been moved in 1967 to Holy Trinity, Seghill, and placed on the north wall under the balcony, (Diocesan Faculty 2521 12/12/1967 refers) but this work was not carried out.
