The son of James William and Mary Jane Stockton, of West Hartlepool. His brother James William Stockton also died in WW2.

The Hartlepool Northern Daily Mail 07/01/1946 reports:-
STOCKTON.—On Jan 4. at Howbeck Hospital. Leslie (A.B., Royal Navy), aged 22 years, dearly-beloved son James and Mary Stockton (nee Skirving). Cortege leaves 29 Pilot Street. 1-45 p.m., Wednesday, for service in St. James’s Church. Friends and neighbours kindly invited.

Leslie Stockton is remembered at West Hartlepool on W111.055 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
