On Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hampshire is the name of P/KX 99133 Stoker 2nd Class George Frost serving on H.M.S. Acasta  with the Royal Navy who died 08/06/1940.

He was the son of Robert William and Ethel Jane Frost, of Perkinsville, Co. Durham.

The Newcastle Evening Chronicle 25/10/1941 reports:-
Mr. and Mrs. Frost, of 9. Park View. Perkinsville. have received official news from the Admiralty that their son, George Frost, a stoker, was killed in action. Frost was previously reported missing.

George Frost is remembered at Chester le Street on C105.39,  at Pelton on P26.04 and P26.10 and  in our List of Ships’ Crews.
