Notes:

1. The Secondary School opened in May 1931. When the new Comprehensive School was built at Pelton Roseberry, the Junior School moved into the former Senior School, the Infants moved into the former Junior School, and a nursery was opened where the Infants had been. A new primary school was built on the site in 2005.

2. The list of names on the Garden of Remembrance Dedication programme in 1949 differs from the names on the stone’s Dedication Programme 1950 P26.10  
Missing in 1949 are J.W. Evans; N. Goundry; J. Hall; G. Harrison (instead of J. Harrison); G.R. Nesbitt; R. Wilson
