Memorial Description:

Plaque, 48 inches high x 60 inches wide, (122cms x 152cms) of three oak panels set vertically within a traceried frame.

The names are incised in a single column on each of the two outer panels.

Lettering is incised and gilded using sans serif capitals throughout.

Notes:

1. The former Pieta in the church is pictured in an old postcard as B25.13. On each side of the figures is a wood panel bearing the names. It is unreadable, but the layout appears to be the same on this memorial, which bears no inscription. The centre panel is plain. Is it possible that the two original panels were saved when the Pieta was removed, and remade into this memorial?
