In Niederzwehren Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 17456 Lance Corporal W. Hunter, serving with the Yorkshire Regiment who died 12/10/1918.

In St. Bartholomew's Churchyard there is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
Ella
the beloved daughter of
Adam & Mary Hunter
who died at Whittingham July 22 1923
aged 22 years.
Also of William, their son
who died a prisoner of war in Germany
Oct. 12 1918, aged 22 years.
Also of the above
Adam Hunter
who died Feb. 7 1948
aged 79 years
and the above
Mary Hunter
who died May 9 1962
aged 93 years.
Also Sarah Ross, beloved wife of
Charles Aldridge of Vancouver
and daughter of the above
Adam and Mary Hunter
who died May 22 1969aged 75 years.
Ethel Margaret May 1902-1922
Elizabeth Hunter 1905-1993.
