Truttman, A.V., L/Cpl., 1916
In St.Andrew's and Jesmond Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory of their son Adolphus Victor Truttmann, 9th Northumberland Fusiliers killed in action in France in the Great War at the Battle of the Somme 7th July 1916, grave unknown.

Adolphus Victor Truttman is remembered in in Jesmond in St.George’s Church J1.06 and in Barnard Castle School B135.04
