Memorial Description:

Communion table with plaque on top.

Plaque 8 inches high x 20 inches wide (208mm x 408mm) bore the dedication.

The names are listed in five columns, using elaborate upper case for the dedication, and Roman lower case for the names.

Notes:

1. Although this plaque doesn’t bear the name of the church, when compared with N34.27 which is the ROH to those who served, this has to be for the same church.

2. This was formerly in Saville Street Primitive Methodist Church, where it had been mounted on a Communion table. This church became Woolworth’s and the memorials were removed to Hawkeys Lane Church. See N34.27

3. Rev. T. Greener gave the address, his topic being “Courage, Sacrifice and Service.”

4. As the plaque is now on the wall, it is not clear whether the table still exists.
