On Plymouth Naval Memorial is the name of Acting Sub Lieutenant Robert Leslie Pallister, serving on H.M.S. Rawalpindi  with the Royal Naval Reserve who died 23/11/1939.

He was the son of Robert and Agnes Isabel Pallister, of Whitley Bay, Northumberland

The Scout Roll of Honour 1939-45 states that he was a member of the 2nd Whitley Bay Group.
