The son of Albert Edward and Sarah Hannah Balmer, of Seaham, Co. Durham.

Mick Balmer has submitted the following:

‘Henry’ known to all as Harry, was my uncle. He was born in 1923, the youngest of 5 children of Albert Edward and Sarah Hannah Balmer. The family home in 1944 was 139 The Avenue, Seaham.

This photo was taken the year before his death.
