Unveiled 26 September 1920 by Mrs. Braidford of Friarside; dedicated by Canon Boot, vicar of St. George’s, Newcastle.

Memorial Description

Plaque 120 cm high x 75 cm wide x 5 cm deep on oak pattress. There is a Celtic patterned border ending in four square patterned knots in each corner. The lettering is in black sans serif capitals.
