William was born July 18th 1914 in the Weardale District. He married Elizabeth Foggin in Spring 1939. In 1939 his parents were living at 66 Grantham Avenue Seaham. Arthur born 1887 was a Builder Contractor and Ida nee Proud had been born in 1889.
Sgt. Taylor was serving with 90 Sqdn. He was a crew member of Stirling I BK628 WP-G which took off from West Wickham on a mission to Wuppertal. The aircraft was lost without trace.
