In Freetown (King Tom) Cemetery, Sierra Leone is the Commonwealth War Grave of C/TD/X 2045 Ordinary Seaman Wilfrid McDearmid, serving on H.M.S. Neptune with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 25/10/1939.

He was the son of Herbert and Elizabeth McDearmid

H.M.S. Neptune was lost in 1941, so Ordinary Seaman McDearmid must have died from another cause.
