In Cleethorpes Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Second Engineer Officer Wallace Allan, serving on S.S. Kildale (Whitby)  with the Merchant Navy who died 03/02/1940.

The son of James and Priscilla Allan, of Sunderland, Co. Durham and the husband of Florence Allan, of Sunderland.
