On the Chatham Naval Memorial is the name of 1368U Stoker Victor William Quogan, serving on H.M.S. Hawke with the Royal Naval Reserve, who died 15/10/1914.

The son of the late Samuel and Johanna Quogan, of 102, Palmerston Street, South Shields and the husband of Margaret Quogan, of 65, Hudson Street, Tyne Dock South Shields.

Victor William Quogan is remembered at Harton on H10.104, at South Shields on S86.004 page 7 which are duplicates of North Shields N34.04 and N34.30 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
