In Berwick upon Tweed Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of LT/JX 206600 Seaman Thomas Oliver Crombie, serving on H.M.S. Sambur with the Royal Naval Patrol Service who died 25/03/1946.

The headstone reads:

In loving memory of
Thomas Oliver
beloved son of
Thomas & Jessie Crombie
who died from the effects of
war service with the Royal Navy
25th March 1946,
aged 26.

Also of the above
Thomas Crombie
who died 9th June 1952
aged 59 years.

Also of the above
Jessie Crombie
who died 22nd January 1965
aged 67 years.

He was the son of Thomas and Jessie Oliver Crombie, of Tweedmouth, Berwick upon Tweed.
