Thomas Edward Angelo Ronchetti was born in Stockton on Tees in 1876.

In 1915 his widow Jane Almond Ronchetti nee Sedgewick was living at 46 Parliament Street Stockton

Thomas Ronchetti is my great uncle. Recently I have been working on my family history and have information about T.E.A. Ronchetti but no photograph. Sadly, and I think unfairly, his participation in the Merchant Navy in WW1 was not officially recognized as it was claimed that he was a passenger on the SS Falaba when it was torpedoed and sunk. I believe he was travelling as an employee of Elder Dempster en route to a posting on a ship in Lagos and therefore should have been considered to be actively engaged. But at least I can help to record his memory in your archive.
