His wife was Thomasina Dignan. Her marriage to Robert John Arnott was registered in Quarter 1 of 1910 in Tynemouth District. She later married William McAllister. That marriage was registered in Quarter 2 of 1920, also in Tynemouth District).  Robert’s parents were William and Mary Ann Arnott (maiden name Lee).

Robert John Armott is remembered at North Shields on N34.77, at Tynemouth in T36.14,  and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
