In loving

our dear son
Robert Arkley
lost at sea through
enemy action 1st Nov.
1942 aged 22 years.

also my dear husband
John George
died 23rd Jan. 1961
aged 74 years.

Robert Arkley was the son of John George and Ethel Arkley and the husband of Winifred Eileen Arkley, of Sutton, Surrey

His name has not been found on a local war memorial.

Robert Arkley is remembered in our List of Ships’ Crews.
