The son of Abraham and Mary Jane Lumsdon, of Felling Shore, Gateshead and the husband of Rose Anne Lumsdon, of Felling, Gateshead.

Heslop’s Local Advertiser 16/11/1946 reports:
Lumsdon, Felling Shore, John, died on active service Nov. 8th, 1944; also Leslie, R.N., lost at sea May 30, 1942.

John Lumsdon is not remembered on a local War Memorial.
