On Plymouth Naval Memorial is the name of M/2245 Chief Engine Room Artificer 2nd Class John Lakey, serving on  H.M.S. Vivid with the Royal Navy who died 26/09/1918.

The son of John and Elizabeth Lakey, of 40, Clara Street, South Benwell, Newcastle upon Tyne.
