and remembrance 

He was the son of Henry and Barbara Corbett, of Sunderland and the husband of Hannah Corbett, of Sunderland.

Left a convoy unescorted and was hit by two torpedoes from U-107 and sank southeast of the Azores.  3 crew and 1 gunner were lost.

Henry Corbett  is remembered at Hendon on H123.03,  at Sunderland on S140.159 and in our List of Ships’ Crews.
