In Stockton on Tees (Durham Road) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 3015/ST Trimmer George Simmons, serving on H.M.S. Eaglet with the Royal Naval Reserve who died 20/09/1918.

The son of Joseph and Sarah Jane Simmons and the husband of Elizabeth Sands (formerly Simmons), of 1, Hunters Lane, Stockton on Tees.
