On Plymouth Naval Memorial is the name of Lieutenant (S) Ernest Trevor Hackett, serving on H.M.S. Hecla with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 12/11/1942.

The son of William Jennens Hackett and Florence Margaret Hackett, of Newcastle upon Tyne and the husband of Muriel Forster Hackett, of Newcastle upon Tyne.
