On Plymouth Naval Memorial is the name of D/X 17826 Seaman Edward Birch Robson, serving on H.M.S. Bonaventure with the Royal Naval Reserve, who died 31/03/1941.

In Tynemouth (Preston) Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory
of our dear sons
Charles B.D. Robson
killed at Port Said
February 18th 1929 aged 35 years

Edward Birch Robson
killed on active service
March 31st 1941 aged 28 years

Also their father
Edward Birch Robson
died Feb. 21st 1943 aged 70 years.

Also their mother
Jane Dixon Robson
(the rest has not been photographed)
